When to Use

Whenever you need to perform administrative tasks on the server.

Steps

  1. From the Start menu, open Remote Desktop Connection on one of your client computers.
  2. For the Computer name type in the name of your server.
  3. Click Connect
  4. Enter Administrator as the user name and your server password as the password.
