Connect to your server using Remote Desktop as Administrator.
When to Use
Whenever you need to perform administrative tasks on the server.
Steps
- From the Start menu, open Remote Desktop Connection on one of your client computers.
- For the Computer name type in the name of your server.
- Click Connect
- Enter Administrator as the user name and your server password as the password.
- On Small Business Server 2011 Essentials or Windows Server 2012 Essentials, use the name of the administrative account of the server.
