Ensure that all shared folders are indexed.

When to Use

If one or more folders are being reported as containing 0 bytes and you know that there are files in them.

DrivePool uses Windows Search to report folder sizes. You will want to ensure that all your shared folders are being indexed.

Steps

  1. Follow: Q7200705
  2. Open Indexing Options from the Start menu (type it).
  3. Click Modify.
  4. Ensure that all the shared folders are checked.

It can take some time for Windows Search to fully index a large folder. You can continue to use your server normally while this takes place, including shutting down and rebooting.
