Get a list of file system filters installed on the server. A file system filter is a kernel driver that intercepts and can modify all file activity before the file system sees it.

When to Use

If you suspect that DrivePool is malfunctioning and want to confirm that there are no third party drivers involved.

DrivePool does not install any file system filter drivers.

Steps

  1. Follow: Q7200705
  2. Open Command Prompt from the Start menu.
  3. Type fltmc

    Press (ENTER)

This will output all of the file system filters that are currently active. The only ones that are typically present on a clean system are luafv and FileInfo.
